Dear Blogging Friends,
I have spent some time on a side project compiling teaching blogs for a custom search engine. As I search around the web for teaching materials I am often discouraged by what I find from publishing companies and informational host sites.
I have been so impressed by the dedication and generosity of teacher bloggers. These teachers truly understand a classroom teacher's needs and have great lessons and ideas that are spot on. They are willing to take the time to share their ideas and post their thinking.
Over the past year I have built up a wonderful Personal Learning Network of educators online. Hopefully this search engine will help steer others towards their sites.

Happy Holidays,

So the search engine looks in blogs that you have identified? How does it work?

What a fantastic idea! I just found your blog (can't even remember how I got here) but am glad to have found you. A resource that just searches teacher blogs is so needed. Thanks for setting it up!
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan, hoping to spread the word. Glad that you feel it is valuable. Feel free to download the button to place on your blog if you have one. Amy
